Yeah, what's all this nonsense about 2 pads deep being enough? As many as you can muster is the answer! Especially as pads are usually in varying states of knackeredness, where 2 battered pads might not equal one new pad.

a slightly sloping landing can be useful, as the top pad slides off across the lower pad.

Team ascent, no falls, although I Did pose for a photo, then jump from half way.
