Possibly worth reposting from the similar discussion here.Feet on - hip extensors and low back extensorsFeet off - hip flexors and abdominalsThis is a simplistic representation and there is a lot of co-contraction of other muscles. The deeper abdominal muscles will be active during foot-on climbing for example.
If you want to get better at swinging around on the board then I'd recommend a course of swinging around on the board until you stop falling off...
If this sounds like it's the case, your technique's improved and I envy your potential to climb harder. Good work sir.
Keeping your feet on is definitely a different kind of tension than holding swings.Makes me relieved that I'm not allowed back into the School . Men get fatter as they get older, a harsh reality I'm afraid. I'm nowhere near as good on small crimps.
It'll come back, you've only been going there a few months.
look nice with your top off, really not sure about the crossover to climbing.
Did you start doing a lot of sport climbing? It's a commonly known fact that sport climbers are phenomenally weak.
I'm also about 10% heavier than I was.
For a reference as you well know Paul, pego is 7c and the gift is 7a+.
I would pay good money to see Paul go aggro
[/list]and the best of all from last night "you're just not trying hard enough"...
using other things as indicators.
