Road Biking Holidays
December 06, 2014, 08:59:33 pm
Hi,
Can anyone recommend any organised/supported road biking holiday providers for the Alps or Pyrenees? I don't know much about how these things work but I'm thinking something where a group cycle from hotel to hotel each day, bikes, bookings, food, route planning, support vehicle etc provided.
I imagine there's tons out there but any specific experiences or recommendations would be very much appreciated.
Cheers,
Rich

I have looked at few of these and they all seem very expensive £1,000 for a week. I was trying to find one to do for birthday next year but I think it would be easier to ask for a new bike.  ;D

Think enty (Chris entwistle?) On the other channel has a house in provance where he organises road biking holidays could be worth an email. Can probably advise on other places around europe too.

Just looked on UKC his website is here

Can fully recommend Enty's set-up. We were there last year and had a cracking time, very nice bloke as well!

Thanks all.
It's not for me Chris, don't worry about that. Not yet anyway.

Good man. I would have thought you'd learned your lesson with these dangerous activities.

Marmot Tours is very good. Extremely well organised and well worth the money.

We are going for our third time with them next summer. Been to the alps and the Pyrenees with them.
