Wall in first lawrencefield bay

Does anyone know if the big wall in the first bay has been climbed. There are routes to the left and right. The wall seems to have some good flakes. Seem to remember in the 90s that this was tried a few times

No, it's a known project and has seen a lot of attention. It will be very hard.

Okay thanks
Interesting as there are obvious holds and some look like they have been improved, there is also a wire placement on the upper section

This line is steeped in folklore, history and has been eyed my many, tried by a fair army of very talented and able climbers. It's not a last great line... But cert a last great route.

Go for it.
