Anyone checked out new DJ Yoda yet?

No, but would like to.  Do you know anything about it?  Label or name perchance?

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Amazing-Adventures-DJ-Yoda/dp/B000H4W2JG/sr=8-1/qid=1164094877/ref=pd_ka_1/203-9412189-8382360?ie=UTF8&s=music

Isn't he on the Antidote label or something?

But Soaps old boy, are you seriously trying to tell us that you use this kind of Tourette-thrash-trash aural assault for your listening pleasure? ???

For over two decades Whitehouse have been a fucking awesome ensemble.  I don't listenen to Whitehouse for "listening pleasure", I listen to Whitehouse to have my head fucked with.  There is no other band that comes even close to having a manifesto one half of one percent as downright dangerous as Whitehouse:  The joke's on you.  Against Whitehouse, Crass were fucking amateurs.

Let it come down.

Whitehouse - wiki entry.

Whitehouses' label "Susan Lawly" website.  (Discog/history/soundfiles etc.. here)

Myspace bull

Recommendations?  Personally I prefer the more recent "rant" records recorded by Albini.  "Halogen" from '94 is a fave.

Spanish producer Alex Under is incredible. Hear some of his tracks on beatport.com if you like glitchy, wholesome tech sounds.

Wanted to see him, but the closest he got to here was Glasvegas, and it was midweek.

you got the new record?
im not too keen...although if you think about it, he certainly had progressed his style (by totally changing it) every album.
i just hope that the majority of his set will involve private press - blood on the motorway - im a bad mother fuckin' DJ.

Yus, as discussed on PG55 of this very thread. I really like some of the tracks, but others sound like generic run of the mill hip hop.

Did someone say techno?  Personally I can't stand the stuff but just in case, here's 3 mixes to keep you out of trouble.

40min DEETRON dj set (Swiss).  90min JAMES RUSKIN dj set (UK).  30min RUE EAST live set. (UK)

And he's finally got his act in gear with www.deetron.com

Stubbs.  What's the Waits LP from not so long back that contains the song whose lyric goes something like:  What's he doing in there?  What's he building in there? (etc..) to some kind of dissonant industrial fuzz in the background?  Think I need this LP.

The interestingly named Mule Variations

There's a good live version of that on his VH1 storytellers session which wasn't officially released, but may or may not be available by other channels

New incubus album 'Light grenades' is awesome if anyone is interested! Takes a bit of listening to and is once agagin different from previous stuff, definately worth buying though if your into metal. Going to see them in april for the 3rd time! Best band i have ever seen, they are better live than on cd!

???  Thought that was a general prerequisite for any live act.
