Unclesomebody - I bought the Ricard Villaboos Fabric 36.  Very nice...   8) not what I expected really.

Fiend - Top recommendation on the Big Bud album.  *** (three stars)  :dance1:

Anybody in to RJD2, I would recommend trying to get hold of the Constant Elevation: The 'Say Word ' Mix. Its pretty hard to get hold of but worth it!

Funny you should mention that I've only just found RJD2 from the music on some climbing vid, and that's what I've got on right now! Must admit, I didn't buy it though... t'interweb is such a wonderful thing!

I will go find.... I have a couple of early 12"s that Big Bud did around the time of the Good Looking/Logical Progression time that are really good too.

BTW in the same package as the Big Bud and Ricardo Villaboos I also got the Fabric mix by Hype and Andy C from a couple of years back - I've always loved ragga jungle and this is ace :great:

There's no doubting Andy C's talent on the ones and twos (and threes in most cases) but I hate hype and his "hype specials" i.e. some samples overlain saying "HYPE HYPE HYPE HYPE!" DJ HYPE"  :wank:

It may have been mentioned on this thread already, but I'm not going to flick through 40 odd pages on my blackberry to find out - so apologies.

UNKLE - WAR STORIES.

Very good. Rocky/dancey + seriously catchy. It's sunk it's teeth in my ears now and just won't let go. Ian Astbury IS a god. Burn my Shadow is a top track. So there you go. Enjoy.

Studio - West Coast

Nu Swede Balearic Punk Pop would be one way of putting it.  Very fucking good would be another. My top recommendation of the week...

"I'll admit that it's a concept that it's not exactly easy to get one's head around... a DJ set composed only of the artist's own

Much like Ben Sims'  Theory of Interpretation CD.

Sims mixing his own remixes.  Truly killer.

I'm so behind on this thread it's untrue, thanks to all posting mixes, free music rocks!

Me too. I was at first not sure, as it didn't grab me like "Milk of ......." but it has really grown on me. Definitely worth seeing live, redefine the word "multitask".

Likewise the UNKLE album is a grower too.

New Foos is very much by the numbers, but still good. Seeing them live next month.
