Converter - Raven tor
March 25, 2014, 10:46:45 pm
can't seem to find a video of this problem, and it's had 1 ascent on ukc, anyone know why this problem doesn't see many/ any ascent? have holds fallen off? or just a shit squeezed in line that no one bothers with?

No, it's a decent problem albeit one which requires dry conditions and has one very sharp hold on it

What Stu says.

I was told it was a stand start and did it from there. After looking in the guide and finding out it was a sitter I had one go and thought my finger might drop off in that pocket!

Maybe time for another go at some point as the move to the lip is really good.

Might have known. Did he also do a variant going up with opposite hand first? Dave's a beast just some of his problems are very amusing  :ras:

Good stuff. Dawid will be pleased it's getting some attention, I remember he said it was worthwhile.

Its not a bad problem. In Polish Dave's defence, I 'found' and cleaned up the problem and was trying it when Dave asked if he could have a few goes and did it first. So Dave cant be blamed for the quality. He let me name it - cant remember why its called Converter though.

No it looks good from watching that bird do it. Obviously it's a bit tongue in cheek with Dave's probs, gives me something to say to him

Did this today and I do agree Haydn the moves are good and it's a worth while problem. I just taped my left ring finger for the first hold and it didn't even hurt too much. It was pretty wet though so take some toilet roll with you!!
