Yeah similar. Can't tell if it's brake lever through femoral vein or artery. At one point he looks in grade 3 shock, and was less then 30 mins from death for sure.

Vein according to the comments, thats grim, the look on his face at one point when he says hes going to die and apologises.......

Vein is worse... Doesn't spasm shut. Trust me on this... I SOOO felt this in an exceptional personal way.. Thank you Charlie ( not on here)... He did the same awesome job of CGs mate.. Yep, Any small off can do this.. If u haven't done a a basic 1st aid course... Even if u have  to pay for it yourself,.. frankly. Whats your fucking excuse?? ( no apology for swearing)... I think  im armed to have such a view.. I carry compression bandages and foil blankets to even BMX and 4x venues. CG would have defo died if his mate hadnt got his fingers then  knee in there...  Could and would u do the same? In 3 nights time over Blakka / torridon etc...

Very good point. One of the first things I thought after watching it was 'I need to do a First Aid course'. Going to try and find one in the new year.

this sounds good. The course I went on (red cross) was poor and filled with factory workers that didn't want to be there.
