Clearing out shoes I don’t use (in the case of the first two, 'cos I bought the wrong size ). As the price suggests they’re all far from new but don’t smell: none have ever been used indoors.

Scarpa Magos, 44 Highly rated, just not by me. I’ve had sporadic attempts to get on with them over quite a long period but they’re still in decent shape.

Decathlon specials, UK7 Worn literally twice by reluctant climbers so virtually new. Redhead-approved carbon rubber soles. They look like this (picture via Google so I can't throw in the bedspread I'm afraid)

Interested in the magos. Do you know how theyconpare in size to instinct lace or vapour velcros?

I have both and take the same size in Instinct Lace/VS and Magos. Magos are very stiff round the toe, brilliant for limestone but not for grit slabs.
