The Battle of Britain is back! On Saturday 19th October some of the best boulderers in the country will compete shoulder to shoulder with those making their first competition steps in our annual super comp. This year the competition will be at The Depot Nottingham.
New for The Battle of Britain 2013 we have cash prizes down to third place in the seniors. Everyone gets a chance to win something with spot and raffle prizes to the tune of £2,000!!
Last year Dave Barrans took the title in the Male Senior category, the Female title was taken by Leah Crane. This year should be as close as ever!
The format involves competitors attempting 30 problems in a qualifying round that will also decide the places for the juniors and vets. The top finishing seniors will then go through to our world-cup format final on the evening. This will be on arguably the best competition wall in the country.
Additional kids problems will be set for the junior categories to complete before they attempt the senior problems.
Live music, food and drink will be available throughout the day.
