Paul Clarke and I did a few new things at Bolton Haw last night. All worthwhile additions to a really brilliant little spot. For anyone looking for a nice picnic spot with an easy circuit you can't go far wrong. Though diminutive, the quality of the rock itself is among the best around.
Sit start to Almanac at 6B+. Very good.
Bones (5) - Start undercutting the capping stone of the cave on the right of the First Boulder. Tustle through.
The Beasts that Bite (6A+) - Take the left hand line through the roof of the Wolf Boulder. Start on an undercut and use pockets on the left face and a crimp around the lip to power to the top.
