Does anyone have reasonably up to date knowledge of the state and level of importance of the fixed gear on these routes? I noticed from an adjacent route that BC had a very manky looking thread and peg, and wanted to know if it was sensible to ab and replace / assess alternative gear options first (I'd rather not, obviously). And, is BC as good as it looks?
