I enjoyed this video of a guy doing some drop tests on his Totem Cams (I haven't had a chance to use my new shiny set in anger yet)
Ingenious approach: he avoids having to chuck 80kg weights down a drop tower on a dynamic rope by dropping a 6kg weight on a short steel cable instead, and reckons he gets impact forces in the 3-to-5 kN range that way. (I haven't checked his calculations and couldn't actually even if I wanted to)
Two tests at the end in the strictly only for aiding two cams mode. (Spoiler alert) In the first one he breaks his test rig at an estimated 5kN; in the second one the rock breaks.
