Quick update on recently visited Avon gorge bouldery bits.

Gollums - enough said

red outcrop - clean, small, but lovely hidden piece of rock. Perfect punter material. I even removed some of the encroaching ivy.

Harveys wall - council or whoever has left pallets of fecking huge stone blocks below wall. Still climbeable, but falling would lead to awful crippling landing. Avoid is my advice.

New quarry. Very long low traverse in brilliant nick. Goes at about font 6b, harder if you include bitter and twisted bit. Plenty of good route start boulder problems and sport routes to go at.

Connoisseurs choice wall. Likewise, perfect condition. Loads to go at in font 6s and 7s. Very crimpy and a bit highball. Spotter advised but landings pretty good.

While we're on sea walls. If anyone fancies a solo of the ardvark and the ferret, let me know, i wanna watch.

Finally. Avons most historical boulder problem - bog wall traverse. In immaculate condition. Popular as always. Legends have done it
