i was gonna suggest listing too. Is there anyone one here with the knowhow about how such a thing could be done?

Don't know if it's possible, but will talk to some people I know. The thing about listing is significance. I've not had time to look through the whole thread, but how important is the structure in terms of the development of climbing walls? is it unique in any way? I'm thinking on the hoof here. I'll talk to someone I know and try to get back asap.

Went down today to find the whole place a ghost town, apparently no one ever goes there (the center that is, not just the climbing wall).
It was supposed to be closed for good about 2 weeks ago, but it got postponed to the end of december,
however it's looking likely that it will be closed at this new date.

Sad to see the place go, so many memories.

Broughton remains open, with most evenings open until 7pm. It is open sometimes at weekends, though its probably best to give them a ring first just to check: 01617922375

Last Tuesday we got access to use the wall until 9.30pm and this will happen again tomorrow night ( 27.11.12.).

I'm hoping to have it confirmed soon that every Tuesday evening the wall will be open until 9.30pm.
I will keep everyone posted.

So get along if you fancy having a go at over 1000 established problems, plus the 45 degree cellar board and the free standing boulder for less than £4.

Have already said this but as their seems to be two threads running.

Broughton will be open every tuesday evening until 9.30pm for the foreseeable future.

Not sure about the xmas period but will post details when I find out.
