UKB Apparel
October 13, 2012, 01:39:08 am
Attention UKB Roadies (and mtbers)
I am busting for some team kit. Whilst discussing in the pub with a friend the idea of UKB team kit was mooted. So how about it? The more who are keen the cheaper it would be!

I would be keen. My mavic stuff is getting tired and I don't wear the big teams kit due to the fact I don't ride for any of them.

What are the plans for designs? Not too OTT on the wolves please  ;D

That may fine and dandy to wear in Sheffield but where I ride in the darkess depths of Lincolnshire some fucker will shoot me for dinner with that kit on.

On the wolves' t-shirts thread there was a link to some wolfy cycling apparel that was quite classy.

This
to go with the cycling tights

angry wolf compression top containing both silver dioxide and titanium dioxide

probably 30% more effective than Okapi Nikas

my recent research has proved that pictures of animals with glowing eyes boost recovery by well over 26%

now all I need to do is shift the SCIENCE paradigm to fit my claims

I'm not sure if I've the chutzpah to carry those wolves. Have you got anything a little less wolfy?

Chutzpah is provided with the kit.
Less wolfy? Are you mad? Who would want less power?

Leaving aside the wolf/tiger/badger theme for a moment, I'd be interested in something classy.

Too many jerseys put too much on and look messy - club jerseys seem exceptionally bad for this. Simple is better, preferably black with one strong feature (yes, I know that in principle wolves can be regarded as a strong feature).

In terms of visibility, big geometric features or letters stand out a mile - like the back of this :

or even this:

PS "crotch wolf"  :great:

Crotch wolf like the crotch eagle on the Saxo Bank kit, or actually positioned over the crotch area?

No way. No wolf = no power.

I do agree with you about messy looking jerseys though, so maybe just one wolf ?

What! Minimum three wolves and a moon, surely!

 :agree:

I'm sure there's room for a wolf on there somewhere. Perhaps a sleeve wolf keeping the guns in check?
I'm not amazing at coming up with designs. Perhaps a budding creative could play with this?

I'm sure there's scope for some sort of Arm-strong related pun here.

Both work.
