(hopefully) minor roof repair in Sheffield
August 04, 2012, 09:08:31 am
Popped my head in the attic and noticed a bit more daylight streaming through than there should have been. Does anybody know a roofer who'd be up for repairing it without trying to sell me a new roof etc?

Try Shaun at Barrow Roofing, always been pretty up front and straight with me. did some repairs and new velux at my old spot on South View Crescent and also very handy with the lead work (2 new bay tops that look well neat).  He's happy to work off ladders rather than insisting on scaffolding.

He persuaded us that we didn't need a new roof and that our roof was actually in quite good nick despite looking a bit tatty to the untrained eye.

On that point - we've got daylight coming in in various places - but it doesn't actually leak.  Possibly worth waiting for a downpour and popping up to see if there is actually any water coming in.
