Good effort Rodma (and any other UKBers, I don't recognise any of the monikers).

Champ 4th?

Cheers Chris

It was a good day, the team (by that i mean routsetters, organisers, judges etc.) did a sterling job of making a really decent event out of what were dreadful conditions.

The strong boys all looked awesome as ever. there were certainly no free spots in the final this year.  :strongbench:

and any other UKBers, I don't recognise any of the monikers

Ben Norman was there, who i think is a regular on here. He climbs ridiculously smoothly (for smooth read slow-mo), I've actually never seen anything quite like it. Hopefully there will be some footage once the replays are up online.

Ye I competed too, managed a 3rd place in the IFSC junior category and 21st overall which I was over the moon with! I think the slow-mo was due to concentration in not barn-dooring off all the slabs, nice to know it looks smooth rather than a lack of balance though!!
Any info on when the replays will be up?
Interesting to hear the commentary again as much as anything, hilarious it was!

Replays are now online and cost 3bucks to dowmload or half that to stream.

The slow-mo was awesome. most peeps have at least a bit of a flat spot in there movement and would have stalled, gone backwards or just fallen off. I'm most pleased cos that meant that i wasn't the most sloth-like competitor.

I'm just an old geezer that doesn't know when to give up competing ;D

I was pleased with how the comp went, I ended up in joint ninth with Nathan.

Have downloaded the qualifiers replay, but can't really face watching unedited footage, even of me..

Various videos of BBC's 2012 from Image Impossible

These make much better watching
