Serious Climbing is a new venture started by Caroline Mougenot and features a range of training products including:

The Training Station is an innovative mounting system for fingerboards and system holds, that hangs onto doorframes and require no bolting or drilling where the angle can vbe adjusted to 15 degree overhanging to work that bit harder (Nibs?)

The SW1 Serious Wall is a free-standing bouldering wall with a 8 angle settings that also flat-packs into the space of a wardrobe when not in use.

If you have any questions for Caroline about these or any other products ask away....

Is there any prices for the training wall. I can't see any on there.

Also - what's the weight bearing limit of the top when horizontal - seems to be flexing quite a bit in that clip...

Looks neat though, perfect set-up for spare room without upsetting the landlord

Nice to see the products are getting some attention  :)

@Webbo: the SW1 is priced at £3990 + VAT. Wish we could make it for less but all components are manufactured and sourced both from France and the UK - we're very proud of that, but unfortunately this has a cost...

@Durbs: The video is from a previous version of the wall, the top panel has since been greatly reinforced to minimize the flexing you can see on the video, and can now withstand over 400kg. Videos of the new model to come soon!

@Dylan: Thanks for your interest. We do realise that this may not be for everyone as it may not suit many individuals' budget. This is why we are also looking to actively promote it to climbing centres, mountaineering clubs, universities, and other such organisations to whom it may be more suited.

As promised in a previous post - some videos of the latest version of the wall are now available!

The top panel has been reinforced in order to improve sturdiness whilst in a roof position.

The demo wall is currently in Boulders, Cardiff, and should be available to the public fairly soon - we'll keep you updated!
