Anybody know anywhere that still has stock of these in eu40.5? Everywhere seems to be sold out of most sizes and apparently wont be getting stock in for a while!!!!

I was trying to get hold of a pair of solutions the other day and I emailed banana fingers asking when solutions would be back in stock and this was their reply:

"There is a bit of a sportiva shortage going on worldwide at the moment because they cannot keep their production up with demand, as such the UK distributors currently have no stock of anything and can only tell us that they will be receiving more sporadically between April and September (we are unable to get specific dates for particular models or sizes unfortunately). Im really sorry that i cant give you more info on the availability of these."

Sounds like it might be a while till they are available :/ I went for dragons which i'm really happy with, depends if you're willing to wait a bit i guess.

I think its no coincidence that Adam Ondra has 'not been up to much recently' and there is a shortage of La Sportiva's... either he's run out - or he's been Ondra-napped to work in the Sportiva mines....

Same old story. It´s the same as every spring.
La sportivas sold out all over the globe and the new models release gets delayed.
But you can´t blame them since every jerk from italy to the U.K. is wearing Miuras and Katanas.
The only solution (haha solution) for that would be if they manufacture in china. (i hope they never will)

Bollocks (or should that be "che palle"?).  After years of Anasazi-clad gritstone padding, I've started sport-climbing in an old pair of Miuras and just re-realised how fantastic they are for limestone.  Any longterm shortage and the ambitions of my Malham punterings might have to be reassessed!
