Anyone know the deal on rules with this? Tried it the other day, keeping hands fairly strictly at the same level as the obvious traverse line of holds you start/finish along. This creates quite a tricky crux crossing the area where the 2 7as are - with your feet on the ledge they start on. Someone then suggested they'd thought it was ok to drop down to the ledge then move back up. Is this legit?

That was my presumption, though equally I didn't want to stray too high. How did Ed do it? I was rocking from the good crimps of the left hand 7a to a small crimp out right, then getting something shitty with my left and slapping RH to the slopers of the 7b.

Yeah that sounds about right from what I remember.
