[Peak] Clifftop Boulder area [last slab]
March 06, 2012, 04:15:22 pm
As with much of peak boulders, difficult to know if done before or not, anyway here goes....

There is a fantastic low and flat boulder directly up from the last slab area of Clifftop area.

Starting sitting at seam and pocket, hook and slap your way along and around the blunt arete [crux] and mantle out above the flake line, great. Loz 6B.

Sitting start [easier with mat, so no mat], pull into the flake using nipple out right, and mantle out, again good. Tog  6A+

Maybe I'm being dumb, but which cliff are you talking about the top of?

Sorry, its the clifftop boulder area, opposite robin hoods stride/cratcliffe, if you continue along the edge and round there is an obvious large slab with a route on, the boulder is just above on the top, a stunning position

Cheers, just a common term when there are boulders on top of a cliff.

Probably worth adding details to Peakbouldering.info if its not already in there.

If that is the low block above the big scary slab on the far left (NW) those grades might be a bit high but the problems are good. Never made it to the Froggatt guide but then again there are quite a few unlisted problems V3 and downwards in most of the Froggatt venues.
