even though i dont always agree with the numbers i do love it when people state the odds on something happening.this one turns out to be a bit of a long shot  :)

The other day I was walking to work and I saw a car with a license plate YR59 JUT. Amazing! What are the odds of me seeing that exact license plate?

Or, in geek speak don't use a-priori statistics to infer the significance of posterior events.

Or, to be frank, if you hadn't been born, chances are your genetically very similar "sibling" would have wandered onto a forum and asked the same question.

I'd say impossible!  YR was the London area code and was phased out in 2001, so it's not possible to have a YR area code with the new age identifiers that include 59   :P
