sorry for the noob style question, eeeeekkkkkk   :guilty:. anyone have any opinions on these? or any recommendation for a similar pad?

I've got the previous version - looks like it's basically the same except for velcro straps instead of the aluminium buckles, and I'd say that buckles are an improvement. It's been great, a few seasons old and foam is still good and firm, cover not showing any significant wear, and no stitching gone yet. Don't know if they still use the same foam. The Moon Warrior is similar size, taco, and does the reverse fold thing, so is an option too.

Keep in mind POD don't like DFBWGC though.

I think they're brilliant personally, had one for a couple of months and its been a fine companion for me

I've had one for a few years. It's great. You can also fit a normal size pod mat inside should you want to.

sorry to bring this up, but got the pad and it seems very good. but i couldnt work out how you did this with the  taco fold mat?
is it a case of just giving it some?  :-\ :-\
