Hello all, can the combined wisdom of ukb offer any advice for my knackered shoulder?
Apparently I have a torn/damaged labrum, physio has helped me get ROM back, and the occasional stabbing pain at odd angles seems to have ceased. Have been hitting the therabands and stretches from the physio and just started easy climbing again, shoulder obviously feels weak, very clicky, wobbly and sore afterwards.
Question is, given the type of injury am I now just waiting for it to dislocate the first time I try anything vaguely difficult? Options from the physio were to get a scan to establish the size of tear, then apparently some folk have the tear stitched, or if the labrums cartilage is a flap, that gets trimmed off.
Be great to hear from anyone else dosy enough to fling themselves down big hills, crash, and end up with this problem. cheers.
