Did a dyno at Almscliffe yesterday, which I'm led to believe is new - obviously if anybody knows any different post here.

Start on the pedestal on the left hand side of the front face of the Virgin block (left of the Gaskins problem) and dyno straight to the break. It's a shade over 2 metres (between 2 and 2.05), tricky to catch and hold the swing. Might be easier in good conditions.

There aren't any holds in between, so it's not elimiate and climbs nicely.

Tom Peckitt repeated it straight after and confirmed the grade & quality.

Sequence of me on it courtesy of Dave Gater:

Good job Nick (like the name too). I've never heard of this being looked at before. Unless you have your dyno goggles on (as Dave obviously did that day) you wouldn't look at is as a dyno. As soon as you do, it is bloody obvious.
As Nick says it's pure, good fun and quite tricky.
Ball park grade of 7a is fair but (in my opinion) it felt harder than Clubber Lang at Ilkley, which is 7a+. Like Nick said conditions will play a part in holding the break.
Nice snaps Dave
