feel free to punter me as this is A. not in the north of the area and B. not a B&B...

however, having stayed in a couple of more 'traditional' B&B's in the Widecombe area I highly recommend this.  It's a small S/C place right next to the Rugglestone Inn, one of the finest hosteleries in the land and <5mins to Bonehill/Hound Tor/Saddle Tor

Seeing as though responses are a bit thin on the ground, I know it's not in the North either, but The Rock Inn does B&B, and the food is fantastic.  http://www.rock-inn.co.uk/
