Can't we just have some fuckin' decent weekend weather for once?

"Dry start, rain spreading from the west during the afternoon. "  That's the Peak and Yorkshire sodden yet again...

well at least I only need a nice new rim

so, after peeling of the bloodied puss stained dressing off my shin whilst necking some antibiotics that hopefully cover peak stream bacteria (same ones good for most bioterrisim agents!) I'll be mainly doing fuck all this weekend. OOOHH it throbs a bit.

Starring at a newly serviced bike and swearing at the rain....great.

I've had a grit rash for weeks, i want rock!!

Well, no. you live in Britain and thats the price you pay!

any consolation and i just had to spend a weekend (in the best part of the year weather wise for climbing) in one of the flatest places around - Singapore!! However, in order to make up for the torture endured (family - hers not mine - wedding) i'm gonna take a weeks unpaid leave and go to Krabi to recouperate. Ain't Asia great

Thanks for that Stu, that's really made me feel a lot better

Well, it was a complete washout once again. Me 'n Fatboy went out mountain biking to the hardcore Wharncliffe woods downhills where we were crap and poor old Fatboy nearly lost a testicle

If the website server changeovers go ok (deadline 6th) then I'd be up for a Yorkshire trip... I'll see what the other boys want to do...

Hmmmm..... nice pussy leg - yum! I think they should amputate personally  :)

Sure that's not just Wharncliffe? All the downhills in the trees are walker free, as is most of the wood really. Some new courses been built with mean looking gap jumps and stuff on them since the last time I was up there. Most of those runs are really for full suspension though - you might have problems on your hardtail....and get some proper tyres - Fatboy could hardly move in the mud yesterday and almost got a big sulk on
