Repairing dragons
November 01, 2010, 12:46:27 pm
Seeing as most of the lace holes in my dragons are now fucked and merged into one big lace hole but the rest of the shoe is still OK, has anyone managed to do a reasonable repair job on theirs or am I just going to have to buy a new pair?

I didn't think that it would be fixable. Maybe try these...

On a more practical note, if you do have to buy a new pair I would suggest doing so soon before the prices go up again.

Jim, if you end up chucking the old pair, and the laces aren't too frayed/otherwise fucked, any chance I could buy em off you for a coupla quid?
The laces that is, not the shoes....

I bet they're still better than the notched laces crap they supplied with my latest pair of whites, really why the f*ck would anyone want notched laces?

I reckon if you can find a decent old school proper shoe repair type shop they could cobble something for you.

(see what I did there)
