Practice extending fingers against a soft, mildly resistant textile. Putting a hand into the pocket of a pair of jeans will work.
Then extend the arm forward with a light load held between the fingers - equivalent to 5 or 6 pounds worth of change.
Try to carry 2 large glasses, each containing around 568 ml of beer or lager.
Hand one glass to me and then slowly perform 10 reps of lifting the remaining glass to your mouth - each time trying to reduce the volume of liquid in the glass by drinking from it.
