I have a quick question.

Does any reliable source know what the typical route grade was in the World Cup events back at the start. 88/89. More the final i was after finding out. Also, what is the grade now, typically, in the final.

In the mid nineties It was about 7C - 7C+ for the Quals 8A for the semis and 8A+ for the final...if thats any help. The quals probably start at 8A+ these days!
