5.10 Dragon Stretch
August 21, 2010, 06:34:56 pm
Hey,

As the topic suggests, I need some advice on the amount of stretch I can expect around the knuckles of my toes.

The shoes are perfect length wise and the heel fits just right. There is quite a bit of pain from the knuckle area and it's so tight that it's preventing me bending the shoe at my second joint on my big toe. I get the impression that it will be fine if the material stretches a bit, but if it's not going to I think I'll have to try a bigger size.

Do you think it's worth trying to go up half a size? (they are sized the same as my street shoe size currently).

Thanks for any help

thats where they hurt on mine too when new .Whilst they're not the most comfortable boots in the world they do 'comfortise' fairly well without bagging out.

Thanks for the replies.

I might put off wearing them and try a half size up to see if the heel stil fits well. I'm worried about screwing up the perfect heel fit (never had a perfect fitting heel in a downturned shoe before!) really.

I'm not convinced (reading another thread on here) that they'll stretch much. They actually fit perfect with the laces undone, but that's not going to help when I'm pulling on some crazy toehooks!
