More progress at the Depot
May 07, 2010, 12:41:55 pm
A quick update to all.

We are building a new training board at The Depot;

The board is going to be 4.5 meters wide, 4 meters tall and overhanging by 30 degrees.  The board is going to be used for circuits, to get that ultimate pump and build up stamina for the Yorkshire limestone season!  There will be circuits/routes from the low 6's to the high 8's.

Steve and Luke are building at the moment.  We are hoping for all the building to be completed asap, then setting at the beginning of next week (we have loads of new holds from Planet Holds to use) and open straight after....

The rest of the wall and the current bouldering ladder is open as normal.

If anyone has any feedback on what they have found works well on this type of board please let us know.

Cheers Ol @ The Depot

Looks good  :thumbsup:

Where abouts is it going? Hard to tell by the picture but is it the bit of wall on the 'back' of the slab by the kids area?

Main suggestion would be: if you are setting circuits then have a few starting at similar places, so you can cycle from one to another easily.

Your right it's on the back of the slab!

Thanks for the sugestion, we will definately make sure some of circuits start in similar places.

Any more thoughts people?  Loads of you must have used good ones and bad ones!
