Simon, re: Big G's latest find, I did a rather nice arete (sds V2ish, excellent clean rock) on a block in the screes immediately under Clogwyn y Ddysgl last summer. I wonder if its the highest problem in the Pass?

I know of no higher recorded problem in the Pass - I don't suppose you have a pic?

(George will be made up that someone else has been 'beavering in obscurity'.)

You suppose right. Given that distinction, perhaps it deserves a name; I think it has to be 'Death Zone'.
