Sorry gritlad but I'm juggling a lot at the moment so don't have time to make topos for every new boulder. The problems on this block ar very obvious; I doubt you'll have any problems working out what is what.

New guide is in production but I haven't done the Beddgelert section yet.

Guess you've never read the Gruffalo.

Sorry, just being a bit thick - I have read the Gruffalo (obviously, I've got kids!), but it was a long time ago.

Oh, I remember - you mean the Utopia block though, no?

I got some good shots of you that day; you might even see your face in the new guide when it comes out.

Simon, re: Big G's latest find, I did a rather nice arete (sds V2ish, excellent clean rock) on a block in the screes immediately under Clogwyn y Ddysgl last summer. I wonder if its the highest problem in the Pass?

I know of no higher recorded problem in the Pass - I don't suppose you have a pic?

(George will be made up that someone else has been 'beavering in obscurity'.)

Possibility of a light shower in the hills tomorrow Rich. Sunday looking better.

Consequently I'll be out bouldering tonight and Sunday!
