I did this years ago and remember being quite confused when I went into the post office which sold route plans for 4 days 5 days 6 days etc. Nothing lower, we'd planned for 3. My feet were in agony and I hated all bar the first few miles.

Good luck with it, its certainly a good tick!

3 days? That's ridiculous! We spent a leisurely 12 days doing it when I was about 15. I can't imagine doing it in less than a week, unless you run much of it. We are all talking about Alfred Wainwright's 190 miles from St. Bees Head, to Robin Hoods Bay (or vice-versa)?

My grasp on the details is a little hazy, all I know for certain was that we were a day short of the shortest recommended time and my feet blistered and bled a lot. It was horrendous, and all because my mates brother needed some leadership qualification.
