As per the title really.

I'm going to be building up a Stumpjumper for XC shortly and will be cannibalising parts from the dead hardtail.

I want to upgrade the crappy Hayes HFX9 front but want to keep costs down.

Avid Code 5s are dirt cheap on CRC at the moment but they're a bit too heavy for an XC build.

On my DH bike I have some original (2 pot) Saints which I was thinking of bunging on the XC bike as they're not too weighty, then bunging the Code 5s on the DH bike instead.

Not sure about the direct comparison with the saints Bubba, but I've a mate who's a massive fan of the code 5's, pretty much putting them on every one of his bikes apart from XC bike.  Hope that's some kind of recommendation! ;D

I've gone for one anyway - they're less than half RRP at CRC atm.

Just hope the mounts are interchangeable for a hassle free swap.

The Saints will be great for XC, they weren't shabby in the Alps on the DH bike (with a bigger disc mind).
