Just heard from Chris D that Rich has recently sent Malc's start, The greenheart connection and flashed Statement of youth.

Bon effort!

Sorry for being a total bouldering ignoramous, but, just out of interest, how hard are those problems.

F*cking hard I expect judging by the last time I saw Rich climb.

That's a rather impressive tick list!
Malcs start is the low start to pools of bethesda(8b/V13 ?)
Greenheart is Dyers monstrosity in parisellas (8a+/8b or V12/13 ?)
Statement is the classic Fr8a on Lower Pen trwyn.

Not bad going really

You'd be lying if you said he was weak!
Is that the 2nd ascent of Malcs thing? Or has floppy done it?

Don't think floppy's done it-don't thinks he's done the stand up even.
The moves into p.o.b i.e malcs start, are pretty easy really, just hard to get into a good position to throw for the porthole(which is still the crux by a long way!).

3rd ascent of Pool of Bethesda, 2nd ascent of Malc's Start and 3rd ascent of Greenheart Connection - Richard questioned the grade of this (currently V12), suggesting that with his limestone fitness, it felt more like V11!

I'm not surprised that Rich found Greenheart relatively ok, it suits him down to the ground, doesn't mean its not V12 though, i reckon its as hard as similar problems in Europe, Total Eclipse in font, Unendliche Geschitee 1 in Magic Wood, both proper 8a+'s. Statement was onsight which is an awesome effort considering he's just been bouldering recently and it's January. Blimey

I would be inclined to agree Mr Doyle.  There are easier confirmed V12 out there.  Speaking for myself, I could'nt actually grade 'Greenhart' as I virtually lived in that cave for about three years - tough little cookie though.  Word.
