See you there Mr Stunt horse!

BoulderUK is shut from today until Monday (inculsive).  So back open on Tuesday.

They seem to have a lot of prizes for the raffles, including a belay device which is quite fitting for a boulder comp I thought!

It seems Percy hadn't made your buttocks sufficently sore enough  ( )  to do worse than me!

Nice comp though, funny to watch people trying to undercut that cimney in the back room rather than crawl in it.  In fact it was funny to watch anyone try that and I was laughing whilst I was doing it.

Those final problems looked hideous,  I was looking at them thinking "They only seem to have put crappy foot holds on them".  Good effort to everyone in the finals.

My buttocks weren't sore as they should have been as I couldn't get the Buttock Jam at Percy's comp in, let alone do anything off it, however on Sunday I was still climbing like a wet dog and managed to get up 15 problems and only collect 138 points.

Good problems though. Grumble.

No pictures, forgot my camera, but here's the results as my bad memory recalls:

Mens:

1st : Tom Jennions
2nd : Ben West
3rd : Dan Bradley
4th : Ryan "Can't find matching shoes" Pasquill
5th : Mark Croxall
6th : Andy Earl

Women :

Hazel Findlay
Lucy Hughes

then, maybe:

Katie Mills
Sian Oxley

The womens was really close in the final, sorry I can't do better.

Tim won it for the Vets, but I can't remember any more than that, pretty useless really.  Plus I might have got some of the surnames wrong!

Naah, it was a knock out format final, the Earl climbed first and tried to toe on a screwy rather than heel it and got spat off so didn't get to try any more problems and hence came last.

This style of final will probably have suited young Tom too. He's a keen observer and after watching the rest of the guys attempt stuff he'd probably have had a good idea of what to do. Not to take away from a cracking result and a rise to comp prominence from nowhere, as he is strong and talented.

The Cassidy said he'd been training him, dunno what that means, but its fucking working. Can I have Cassidy coaching please?

What about yourself Dobbin? I'm sure if you'd been training on your lunchtime down Woodhouse Scar you'd have been in the top 5.

You're probably right! thats where I have been going wrong, hanging out on boards instead of up there at Woodhouse! (plus, I have moved to Pudsey again, so its not so handy)
