There'a an ancient bendcrete bouldering wall at my place of work. Not a great wall but handy for a quick sesh or an ARC session, perhaps a bit polished but nothing compared to say bas cuvier.
Tonight I find that some knob has been at it with something like a chisel & wire brush or an angle grinder either trying to make the holds bigger or reduce the polish.
The result is just like it would be on rock. A broken, gritty loose surface.

Did anybody on here used to build these walls & have any suggestions :please:

 I guess Squawk might be able to advise you as he used to own Bendcrete, and now owns Rochdale Climbing wall.

Bendcrete was always owned by Gordon Bendle (hence the name of the company). Squawk was merely an employee albeit one with a few shares  ;)

Oops! Thought he was co-owner or some-such. Thanks for the correction Graeme.
He still owns/manages/works at Rochdale Wall. I should know: he once refused me entry when I was about £1 short and didn't have a card to hand to make up the shortfall (the prices weren't correct on the website).
I'm quite glad really as I went staright round to Broughton - and stayed there. Still haven't been to Rochdale.

Thanks guys. Is he registered on here under the name his Mum uses?
If so I can PM him.

So no response from either squawk or Bendcrete so far. Any more knowledge out there?
