Slopers for boards

If you were a font 7Aish punter and were very bad on slopers and wanted to get a couple for a 45 board to redress this, what would you get? Being skin-friendly is essential, as lack of skin is the biggest problem i have with training.

Some big chunks of wood that can be sanded/shaped according to your needs. Ask for off cuts from floor joists etc at your local timber shop.

What is the top of your board like? if you have space to hang it, make it a big sloper, therefore every problem finishes on sloper.  Made out of wood so skin friendly.  Cheap too.  Most slopers on a 45 would actually be more like pinches.

They have a few of those bleaustone ones on the foundry 40 degree - they're great but more like big pinches than slopers (like nodder said).

Cheers guys. Sadly my board's in a small room so the top of it terminates in the ceiling, so im restricted to bolt ons.

There only pinches if you pinch them, we have got them on our 45 and without thumbs they are slopers.

True, it must require a lot of willpower not to put a thumb on though!

It only requires will power when your mates are crushing your projects, with thumbs, and your flailing on the second move without. I do have a self inflated feeling of higher board ethics though ;)

The bleaustone 45 deg slopers are good, as are the 30 deg slopers. Quite pricey though.

Using them with no thumbs is a bit wierd at first, but leaves one with a feeling of smug satisfaction.

Krank - I promise to only crush your projects without thumbs!   ;D
