There a thread on Cock Talk about Dyno techniques. On which M@ has posted calling into question individuals personal definitions of a Dyno.

So come on how do YOU define a dyno?

I don't know if you CAN define a dyno - but you know when you're doing one. Also it depends whether you're vobaculary also has words such as "snatch", "lunge", "slap" etc. Some people don't and thus use dyno to describe any non-static move. I also notice a lot of guidebok decriptions use the word "Dyno" rather too frequently to try and spice-up routes descriptions, when they really mean its a lunge or slap.

I say if your feet are off, then its deffinetly a dyno. But thats not to say that if you've still got a foot on then its not a dyno, cos some you might.

I'd have said it's everything off the rock, but then sometimes there's dynos where everything comes off apart from one hand, or say, a huge dynamic rockover where everything is off apart from the foot you're rocking over onto.....

Whats left of les, V1 or maybe 2 , Hueco tanks.

one heuco, hands undercutting it, feet in it as well,(your already body length up by the way) now jump for next hueco around 6ft+ above you. Team of spotters essential as double wrist breakages are not uncommon.
now thats BIG
