6 month phone contracts.
March 15, 2010, 10:59:04 am
I moved house this weekend. I've been with bt for the last 3 years. I'm moving 7 doors up the road. i have a contract there for 6 months. with my job situation i don't know where i will be in 6 months time. bt inform me that if i move then that starts a new 12month contract with them, if i want to cancel it in 6 months then i have to pay 7.50 for the rest of the term. does anyone have any ideas?

Don't bother getting a landline and make do with a mobile to avoid being ripped off and forced to pay for something you don't want/need.
