I went for a pod super crash pad in the end and i couldnt be happier with the purchase, its a little uncomfortable to carry in the backpack style but its absolutely brilliant to land on and the foam is ducktaped inside a plastic bag on the inside so no worries about it getting wet, something you have to think about in this country haha!

I hope this helps

Me and my mate Speedy managed to send Purely Belter at Shaftoe on Sunday, it's a real soft touch for 8a, I think it has recently been downgraded but hey, I will take the grade and run haha! It's a really nice line. If you are up in the county get Holly to let me know and I'll try and come out and meet you!

Sorry for highjacking this thread a bit!

Over here in the Deep South (Horse Pens 40), alot of people are using Organic pads. Custom made and VERY good quality. Check them out: organicclimbing.com

Heard lots of people rave about these but somehow I don't think shipping something that big from America is going to be cheap eh?!

cheap enough I think, shipping for mine was around $40 (for a full pad + half pad) so worked out about the same-ish as buying in the UK. To echo cmerch they're very good pads, good design, good quality finish and great to land on, worth a look if you're in the market for a new pad.

17% IIRC .. after chatting with customs we got the ronins in as a * climbers inflatable mattress*

you are better off speaking to them first.. not once they have the item.

Only HMG dept that welcome calls... they are truly keen to help!!
