You will probably have noticed that the site has become quite unstable at peak hours - this is because the creaking old server has finally reached it's limits....

....but fear not, a new spanky server setup is being installed which should get everything running smoothly again.

Was hoping it would be in for today's lunchtime rush, but alas no. Shouldn't take too much longer.

The server has been upgraded.

There will be some tweaking necessary to get the best from the new setup but in the meantime we're hoping for much higher uptime, especially at peak periods such as weekday lunchtime

Simon & Toby stumped up the money for the server upgrade, all I did was tweak a few settings here and there.

The server pissed through today's busy period so I suspect that from here on in the site will offer a much better user experience - it certainly feels faster to me.

I'm liking the Karma stats at the bottom of the Karma page.

Jas seems the nicest guy here, and guess who's the most spiteful, twisted, nasty.....  Well, you know

A large amount of those are due to a stupid battle with that pointless cunt "Dude" who randomly started smiting me and calling me a cock for no reason whatsoever. I did ask Bubba if he could reset the -ve karma we'd both given each other as it was all puerile and distasteful, but don't know if that's possible. If it is I'd still very much appreciate it being done as it's a waste of the karma system.

Other amounts come from a similar skirmish with Adam Lincoln, I forget why but we're both pretty  now. Some towards Dylan who always seems pretty generally hostile on here which I can't work out, and same with Houdini when he went cold turkey for a while and started being a cunt towards me for no reason.

Take away people being unjustified dicks towards me and ending up with beef karma, and it would be a lot less.

Interestingly, my total Karma giving is 443. Subtract 64 and you get 379 +ve Karma that I've given out, pretty close behind Jasper at the top, yes?? Or a ratio of 6:1 +v : -ve , even taking into account the beef karma. A lot more of a balanced picture, yes?? ??
