I've done a load of research on pulley injuries. Massage seems popular, but has anyone had any experience of causing further damage due to over-doing it? In summary, it f'king hurts, but perhaps no more so than if I massage an uninjured finger... (BTW it's only a partial tear and I've got pain-free movement).
The last thing I want to do is cause further damage - I had a pulley injury years ago, and it took well over a year to get back to normal
Now to share some information: I've been trying the Mr MacLeod icy water method with no success up til now. Been getting it either too cold
or not cold enough. 5 degrees seems to be the magic temperature for me, but I appreciate it must vary between people (probably based on residential latitude).
