Ubuntu on your phone (been in the pipeline for ages, but you can then plug your phone into a monitor and use it as a desktop when you're on the move). :geek:

Something "extraordinary" apparently!

Update your browsers

That's a major concern for the 15 people who use Google+.

  Although I don't think its limited to Google+.

They've recently introduced "Communities" though which I think will make it a bit more functional, makes it a bit more like Reddit.

CS2 activation servers turned off, adobe releases recompiled binaries without the activation stuff, and gives the world the serial keys. Technically only for people that have already paid of course (probably because there's lots of licensed stuff in premier especially) but it's heavily implied that they're regarding it as abandonware and fair-game. PS CS2 is 7 years old but still lightyears better than any of the freebies unless you have a mate in prison etc.

Amazon AutoRip

That is very cool.

The fact that when you log into CloudPlayer it automatically adds all of the mp3s that you've bought from Amazon is probably more that some providers might do, but doing it for physical purchases too is very impressive.

Although none of my CD purchases have actually shown up yet.

Seems most of the CDs I've bought aren't covered, all I've got is Erik B & Rakim's "Paid in Full" and the RATM single I bought a few years ago around xmas.

Bought loads of Fabric Live CD's in the past six months, although all second hand, so that may be one factor why they're not being added.

I'm still impressed with Google Music, as its allowed me to backup well over a decade worths of Essential Mixes, all Blue Jams and tons of other mixes too as well as all my ripped CDs and I've still got room for another 13000 tracks!

Only in US currently according to this http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-20972027
Which could be why they aren't appearing yet.

Well I got one album, but to be honest I can't remember the last time I bought a new album, so I suspect it doesn't cover second hand purchases.

Not really news but a simple guide to minimise some of the tracking that goes on when you surf the net.

good shout that; I use duckduckgo.com at work at home and on the phone. I do default to google for shopping errands occasionally (the only shortcoming of ducks in my opinion).
I wouldn't consider myself a "power user" though; what's all this "bang!" stuff all about?

Very good shout. I've been using AdBlock Plus for months now and it's brilliant. It even stops you from getting adverts on 4OD making it much easier to watch a program!

I've no idea what you are talking about?

(NB - That link takes you to a page which detects which browser you are using and returns instructions specific to that, I use Opera and suspect you may not be).
