Seeing as the 'show unread post since last visit' doesn't work very well, could a 'show all unread posts' shortcut be added up there as well or just replace it?

But it works perfectly well for me, and I suspect most people.

I've really never had any issues with it apart from when i've been logged in on several different machines at the same time.

I've noticed some weirdness too, and its usually similar to...

..although not necessarily at the same time, perhaps having last checked unread since last visit at one computer, not read all of the returned threads, then going to work and whilst there are still unread posts they're counted as having been read since last visit 'cause I'd checked for them at home.

Could always monitor the sites RSS feed

well I still got issues. current way is to click it and when it comes back with no unread posts I add ";all" to the end of the web address
