Unless you're dead set on 5.10, you might want to check out the Scarpa Stix. There are still some pairs out there, depending on your size. Very good slippers indeed.

You BB you might as well try to sell bacon sangers to hasidic jews.

Word have they changed the mocha then? The ones on the 5-10 site still look like leather. Looks like they've got some roided-up slippers though, copperhead (orange) and a yellow one with  strap called the 5X. have these hit the U of K yet?

pretty sure they're synthetic now but, importantly, unlined (i could be wrong). so they'll stretch a bunch more than the blue slippers. i really should have just bought a bunch of blue ones before the idiots discontinued them.

All the mocha and faux-mocha shoes on their site are unlined leather. sucks to be cofe.

I'll second the qwality of the Stix, possibly probably the best slipper I've ever used. The heel is fantastic (for a slipper), the front starts off quite stiff and then softens up beautifully. The 5X is around, Crouch has a pair (he is the Imedla Marcos of the climbing shoe world, not just in looks) and rates them highly.

Someone help find me a 41. There must be a pair left somewhere!

Yeah we have both the 5X and the new Mocassym in V12, Liverpool. I've used the 5X for about a year nearly and they are the best soft/flat shoe I have had. The bonus is having the zip and velcro which pulls it in on top and at the back meaning the heel can actually be used! They worked just as well on Lou Ferrino as they did on Monoblock..etc

They have lost their edge and gone uber soft now so are ideal for font and the grit.

I probably sized them a half size too small thinking they would stretch loads like a slipper. Probably meant to be sized the same as Anasazi's.

The Mocc's prob go a half size to 1 size down on the 5X. They have a band of rubber across the back of the heel which helps pull it in a bit more and feels like you could use it a little (but I've not bought a pair yet, just worn some in the shop and ragged on the heel on the stairs.

I think the stix are rubbish. I've resorted to ripping most of the excessive rubber off the top and now they feel nice.
