Font in the snow
January 06, 2010, 07:23:58 pm
I preume the answers to this are largely the same as for 'font in the rain', but anyone know stuff that's easy to clean off as it looks like it should be cold enough to avoid melting.
We've thought of (mainly through vids/blogs of the great and the good of ukb) Magic Bus, Atomic Playboy, Opium, Sherpa, La Mouche, fata morgana. Unfortunately half of those might be too hard for us weaklings.
Would noir desire be likely to be ok? Anything at 7a-b anyone can think of?

Ta very much...

We've never got enough protein shake in the house to reach 8a+ strength by tomorrow... 6b-7c+ is the usual range for the people in my group. Maybe we just need to man up more.

Atomic playboy isn't a good one as the water just runs down that seam like a gutter.

Near Fata there's something with Nuit in the title, next to belle du jour, all of these problems form a fairly large roof and could be in ok nick.
Noir desir gauche seems to be one problem that avoids the elements, not incredible though.
What about the are with chaos? (near the school), lots of roofy things including peter pan.

I cleaned off and did Atomic Playboy today. It is in mint condition. Jug at the end has ice in it so you have to campus up to the crimp instead.

We are going to Fata Morgana and Amok tomorrow. Sweep the snow off then hopefully crush!

Spent a week in a cave at a snow covered Bas cuvier with Nodder a few years back, we managed to climb every day, twas only a problem when it was melting and even then we found plenty of sport right through the grades. Folk seem pretty quick to brush the snow off the tops so most boulders were ok. Have faith and keeness and ye shall crush.

Watch your bags and vehicles out there. Just spoke to a friend; two of their group had their bags done over while they were round the corner. One set of locks done on the one car and then to top it off two windows put out of the other car on the final day at Cuisinere I believe.

Cheers man, we rested today and bought some brooms in preparation for the sweeping...
Doyle: don't worry, we're taking good care of Spartacus, we'll have him up something hard by the end of the trip.

Cool, we cleaned some stuff at cuvier the other day and Franchard Hautes-Plaines today.. seems like everything is cleanable if you can get on top of it. Sounds like the UK's way worse anyway!
